Medical (Crisis Based)
By far one of the most perishable skills, knowing how to perform basic Medical intervention during a crisis scenario is crucial in today's environment. Too many times we like to believe bad situations only happen to those around us. Whether we may find ourselves in a car accident, active shooter situation, or lost in the wilderness, it is critical that we have a basic understanding of medical treatment. During this 3 hour block of instruction, we will focus on incorporating life-saving intervention techniques in order to get ourselves, or our loved ones, to a higher echelon of care. By incorporating the principles of "MARCH," (Massive Hemorrhage, Airway, Respiratory, Circulation, and Hypothermia/Hyperthermia) students will learn how to properly triage and treat life-threatening injuries.
